Its surface is decorated with a detailed underglaze design, then finished with a vibrant, glossy "grape soda" glaze to create rich color depth. The entire artwork was fired to Cone 6 (2232°F), permanently fusing the clay and colorful layers into a durable mid-range stoneware masterpiece.
